Silky straight clip hair extensions are the straightest of all textures for hair extensions. The silky straight texture tends to be glossy.
Blending your clip in hair extensions is always crucial for an authentic look. If you have naturally straight hair or wavy hair that you straighten, you’ll be able to blend it with your clip in hair extensions.
The more texture your growth hair has, the less likely it is to blend with the silky straight clip hair extensions.
This means that if you have naturally very curly hair may find that even though you heat straighten the hair, it may not be as shiny looking as the hair extensions and the reason for this is due to the overall shape of the hair strand itself.
A workaround could be to use waxes and serums to make your hair shine.
Those with very curly hair textures including Afro textures might find light Yaki straight or a relaxed straight textures blend better.
Silky straight clip hair extensions are available as single wefts ranging in width from approximately (1 inch) 2.5cm for the temples to 23cm (9 inches) for the back of the head.
In addition to the different sized clips, the larger clips are also available in different densities so you have the choice of buying a single 9” piece that weighs 100g or 9” piece that weighs about 35g (you can check out images of this here).
Silky Straight clip-in hair extensions are also available in multi width sets which usually start at seven piece sets and can increase to 12 piece sets and again come in varying densities.
